Growing up in Japan, I spent a good amount of my childhood riding my bike. My passion for bike repairs began when Mr. Tanaka, a small bike shop owner neighbor helped me work on my bike every time I needed a repair.  I started RLB Cycleworks in 2012 after leaving the corporate world to carve my own path and to fuel my passion for riding, repairing and restoring bicycles. My mission is to get every cyclist maximum enjoyment out of every single ride.

As a husband, a father of seven children, a small business owner and a weekend-warrior musician, here's my favorite quote:

"Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving," - Albert Einstein
